April Taylor is a force. I thoroughly enjoyed being in her presence and hearing her story. I incorporated as much as possible in an article about Wild Fig Worker Cooperative.
She gives props to the founders and first owners of Wild Fig, Crystal Wilkinson and Ronald Davis. They started something pretty, pretty cool in Lexington.
The Fig is a bookstore, coffee shop and venue for community events. “A sacred space,” as their homepage says. And it is.
